Radio Control.

Below are some pictures taken from (and of) my home-built quad copter.  It runs open source flight software on an Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller.  I use a pair of Headplay FPV goggles and a 1.2GHz 1000 mW video transmitter to fly using first person video with an onscreen heads up display.  I also have a GoPro Hero 3 mounted on the front to record HD video.  See the Aeroquad project homepage for more information.

 

I also fly an Easy Sport 40 plane (with a .60cc engine), a Raptor 30 helicopter, and a T-REX 450 Pro helicopter.
